Tree Farm

How does the process work? When you arrive at the tree farm, we ask that you talk with one of our crew members. We can answer all questions, grab a tree tag, a S’more pack and get you started in the right direction! Whether that be a wagon ride to the trees or shopping the Pre-Cut Lot.

Do we need to bring a saw? No, we provide saws for you.

How do I know the height of the tree when cutting it myself? We provide measuring poles for you to use in the field.

What’s the difference between the tree varieties? Balsam Firs are a more fragrant tree, with a soft needle and less dense branch. Fraser Firs have a sturdier branch structure, more of a blueish-green color to them and a stiffer needle.

Do you accept credit cards? Yes, we accept cash, checks and credit or debit cards.

Can we bring our dog? Yes, so long as he/she is friendly, remains on a leash and you clean up their droppings.

Where do you find your Consignors? We seek local artisans from the Chippewa Valley and beyond. We prefer quality, handmade items. See below for the Consignor Application.

Can we take photos here? Yes, you can. We would appreciate and request that you tag us in your photos when posting on social media with our location, name or hashtag: #curvueht

I’m a photographer, can I take photos of my clients here? Yes, you can, but you must place your request through an application process first. See below for application.

Hideaway

What kitchen items do you provide? We have a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, baking, cooking and dining supplies. We also provide creamer, sweeteners, dish cloths, dish towels, paper napkins, paper towel and garbage bags.

Do we need to bring sheets, blankets and pillows with us? We do provide these for you, as well as, towels for bathing. If you have a favorite from home though, I’d bring it!

How many guests can we have? The house is set for 12 guests. We have 12 single beds.

Can we do campfires and do you provide the wood or do we need to bring our own? Yes, you may have a campfire so long as its contained within the campfire ring and there is no burning ban. We do supply firewood for you to use.

Is there laundry available? No, but there is a laundromat nearby.

Can we set up tents or bring our camper trailer along? The answer is no. We have many county ordinances we must follow to retain our Rooming House permit.

Can we do fireworks? The answer is no. We have many county ordinances we must follow to retain our Rooming House permit.

Can we host our wedding or reception here? Unfortunately, no. We have many county ordinances we must follow to retain our Rooming House permit.

Where can we park? You can park right up by the house, across the driveway in front of the Lodge and/or in front of the detached garage.
